In our first worship experience of this new year, Pastor Ray takes us through the story in Joshua 3 where we see that the faith and obedience of the Israelites was pivotal during a "Crux" that they faced. It was only after they obeyed their marching orders that God exalted them. Will you hinge your plans on the promises of God and follow Him in obedience this new year? We, as Jesus followers, must remember that every place we set our foot, the Lord has been there already. We may endure a year filled with storms, battles, and opposition, but as the Lord goes before us, 2016 is a year of shift, change, and new vision, a year where give up our sinful life and embrace a life He has for us—a year marked by salvation found only in Jesus Christ.
