We've all experienced a time or place that we doubt God's love or existence, or the Lord just seems distant or absent altogether. As we continue in our series Death by Icicle, we'll discover in Psalm 42 how David not only survived the crippling spiritual darkness of winter, but he thrived in it. In the sermon "Frostbitten" we're reminded that when we remember and embrace the scandalous love of Jesus that he demonstrated on the cross, we allow him to breathe new life into what's dead and numb in our lives.
